La Manga Tennis Academy offers the latest V1 digital tennis coaching technology and first-class tuition for all ages, as well as a tennis shop, equipment hire services, racquet service centre, fitness centre, beauty treatments, sauna and jacuzzi. Under the direction of La Manga Tennis Club head pro, Fraser Wright, the multilingual coaching team offers a comprehensive, personalised and professional service for individuals, teams and clubs, all year round.

We can assist our clients with all tennis arrangements at La Manga Club including pre booking courts, private lessons and Academy courses.

Under the direction of La Manga Tennis Club head pro, Fraser Wright, the multilingual coaching team offers a comprehensive, personalised and professional service for individuals, teams and clubs, all year round.
- Suitable for all levels, as players are graded and split into groups of no more than six students per tennis pro
- Available all year round, Monday to Friday mornings
- Experienced multilingual tennis coaching staff
There are two options to choose from:
15 Hour Tennis Academy
Two hours of on-court tennis coaching each morning, from Monday to Friday. The following themes are worked on and developed throughout the week:
- Forehand
- Backhand
- Serve
- Volley
- Singles and doubles tactics
- Smash
- Approach shots
- Lobs
- Drop shots
Tennis Coaching One hour each morning in the air-conditioned Tennis Academy room including:
- Computer-assisted shot analysis using the latest V1 digital coaching technology
- Matchplay theory and tactics
- Personal player profile
10-hour Tennis Academy
Two hours of on-court tennis coaching each morning, from Monday to Friday, as detailed above.
Junior Pro Tennis Academy
Designed to meet the needs of up-and-coming tennis tournament players, the new Junior Pro Tennis Academy offers 25 hours of coaching a week.
While the morning sessions focus primarily on technical skills, the afternoon sessions emphasise technical, tactical, physical and mental skills, also using the V1 digital video analysis system.
The Junior Pro Tennis Academy operates during the summer holidays, with two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon, Monday to Friday.
Junior Tennis Academies
Five-day intensive group tennis coaching programmes, running from Monday to Friday, are offered for the following age groups:
- 16 to 19 years
- 15 and under
- 12 and under
- 9 and under
- 6 and under
Tailor-Made Tennis Coaching Programmers
Our experienced pros are also available for one-to-one tennis coaching or for personalised coaching programmes for groups, teams and clubs.
La Manga Club Tennis and Leisure Centre
The Tennis and Leisure Centre - with computer assisted tennis teaching systems - is located behind La Plaza, with easy access on foot or by car. You can find 28 floodlit courts consisting of fourteen clay courts, four astro-turf and four green set courts and an all encompassing the excellent Tennis Academy, 2 Paddle tennis courts, a practice wall, 2 squash courts, a bowling green, spa (jacuzzi and sauna), gym, beauty salon and a swimming pool. At the Tennis Centre you can also find an excellent club house, as well as a pro-shop and a snack bar (Tie Break), the Fiesta Mini Club, where children of all ages enjoy games and outdoor activities throughout the hotter months of the year and when it is cold there are indoor activities provided.
In addition to arranging your La Manga Club accommodation, we are happy to assist with booking your tennis in advance and recommend that you pre book, especially in high season. After your accommodation has been confirmed by us, please contact us with your preferred times and dates. |
