La Manga Club Resort is set on fifteen hundred acres of lush green gardens and with an abundance of accommodation and some of the best sports facilities available in Europe it is a great destination for all lovers of tennis, golf and many other recreational activities.
The tennis academy which sits in the centre of La Manga Club has 29 tennis courts of all types and with a great administration centre and shop and team of staff on hand to help it is a very popular place for all visitors to the Club to polish up their game. There is also a snack bar above the reception area which is ideal for refuelling after a match with a fresh juice drink or light lunch. With a large terrace and wi-fi available it is a great place to socialise with your tennis partners and is open seasonally.
With tennis professionals available for group coaching and individual lessons throughout the day the tennis academy courses are in demand and pre-booking is advisable. You may choose a five day two hour per day course, just a weekend course or private lessons which are usually held in the afternoons as the coaches are teaching in the group classes in the morning. Choosing your tennis needs will probably be quite simple but with so much accommodation available it may prove more difficult to decide where to stay.
To make life a little easier we have packaged together three options in respect of accommodation with the tennis options. We feel that the three options we recommend provide all that our clients will require in respect of their self -catering tennis break but by offering three options we can offer something for every budget.
Our first option is an apartment within the development of Bellaluz. The Bellaluz community is likened to a small Spanish village within La Manga Club because there is a main square around which approximately fifteen apartment blocks are spread out. The blocks are three storeys high, nothing is high rise in La Manga Club and there is a choice of one, two and three bedroom apartments, all have one bathroom. Some have a small terrace or juliet balcony. All are well equipped for a self-catering holiday and the Bellaluz square has a very well stocked supermarket and several restaurants, bars and shops so everything is on the doorstep. There is a great pool and poolside snack bar, seasonal. The tennis centre is no more than a 10 minute walk away and so they are perfectly located within La Manga Club.
The second option is an apartment in the community of Los Olivos. Los Olivos apartments are more luxurious and considerably larger. They are also available with one, two and three bedroom apartments but all have two bathrooms. Again they are three storeys high. The terraces are very large and all have a built in BBQ available. The other major benefit of a Los Olivos apartment is that the community of Los Olivos also has an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi available plus two large outdoor pools. The interiors are of a very high standard and all have complimentary wi-fi. The location of Los Olivos is also very desirable as you can see tennis courts from the spacious terrace. The shops and supermarket within Bellaluz are only five minute walk away.
Our third option and recommendation is a private individual villa with a private heated pool situated in the residential area of Monte Claro. The Monte Claro development is within the road called Calle Gregory Peters which is very centrally located within La Manga Club and again is no more than a 10 minute walk from the tennis centre. The Las Sabinas commercial centre is five minutes away with many shops, restaurants the larger supermarket, El Arbol, at La Manga Club. The villa has four bedrooms and three bathrooms plus a cloakroom and a good size outdoor terrace with built in BBQ. The pool is not heated in July and August. This property would be a great choice for those who wish to enjoy a little luxury in conjuction with an excellent tennis break.
