Leisure for All

Your time at La Manga Club can be as active or as relaxing as you like. There are innumerable ways to fill your day, with a wide choice of leisure activities on offer whatever the time of year.

One of the most enjoyable ways to make the most of the great Costa Cálida weather is to explore the resort itself and the beautiful local countryside - whether by mountain bike, foot, horseback, boat or car. The little-known cities of Cartagena, Murcia and Lorca are all within easy reach of the resort and offer a treasure trove of local colour, history and culture. Or, of course, you could simply relax alongside the pool, head down to the beach, or pamper yourself with a treatment at Spa La Manga Club.

Swimming & Sunbathing
With more than 300 days of sunshine a year, swimmers and sun worshippers will find plenty of locations to swim or just lie by the pool.  Each community at La Manga Club has access to it's own swimming pool.
  Swimming Pools
There is a large open-air swimming pool near the Tennis Centre, which is open during the summer months and has three separate depth sections to cater for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Alongside this pool, Splash Bar offers sun-kissed drinks, snacks and ice creams.
The resort has its own secluded Mediterranean cove, La Cala, located approximately ten minutes by car or shuttle bus from the hotel. This attractive small beach is set against a stunning backdrop of cliffs and, during the summer months, offers a full range of facilities including beach attendant, shower and La Cala beach restaurant, which specialises in fresh Mediterranean seafood.

There are numerous other beaches in the local area, on both Mediterranean and Mar Menor coasts. The Mar Menor beaches are particularly popular with families with young children, because the warm, shallow water offers bathing fun for all ages (more info).
Through 30 years of constant innovation, La Manga Club is considered one of Europe's finest golfing destinations. For the second time in three years, it was voted 'Europe's Leading Golf Resort' at the World Travel Awards.

It is a top choice for golfers because of its three championship golf courses and outstanding practice facilities, all located just a 'short putt' from your accommodation. La Manga Club has played host to many international tournaments over the years, including the Spanish Open and PGA Spanish Championships, and is currently the official winter training base of the German PGA (more info).
Host to such prestigious events as the Davis Cup and the Fed Cup, La Manga Club Tennis Centre is one of Europe's finest outdoor facilities. It is now the official winter training base of the Lawn Tennis Association and the Bavarian Tennis Federation.

Located in the heart of the resort, there are 28 courts (mostly floodlit) in a choice of clay, artificial grass and hard surfaces, a Tennis Academy, paddle tennis and squash courts, as well as a shop, equipment hire services, racket service centre, Fitness Centre, sauna and jacuzzi.

If you are looking to improve your technique, you could choose one of the Tennis Academy courses, offering lessons for all ages and levels and the most up-to-date V1 digital analysis system, or personal coaching from one of the experienced teaching pros (more info).
  Family Fun
Holidays are made to relax and enjoy some quality time with the family. And as one of Europe's best sports and leisure resorts, La Manga Club is certainly the ideal place to do just that. There are plenty of activities to keep you from getting bored, including going to one of the nearby beaches, horse riding, playing tennis on any of the three different surfaces at the 28-court Tennis Centre or playing golf on the three championship courses, as well as squash, paddle tennis and an infinity of water sports.

Open seven days a week during the summer holidays (and Monday to Friday the rest of the year), the Junior Club is just the ticket for the youngest members of the family. In this safe and friendly environment you can rest assured that the little ones will be having fun and making new friends whilst learning new games and skills, giving you the opportunity to relax, unwind and enjoy some time to yourself, perhaps at the fabulous spa.
Other Leisure Facilities
La Manga Club 'has it all'. Trying a different activity every day is not only possible but also one of the best ways of making the most of your holiday. Within the resort and in the local area, you will find a multitude of leisure options:
